Listenry plays audio files you already own. There is no account, and your audio is never uploaded anywhere. The only thing that leaves your device is optional diagnostics, and you can switch that off.
No account
Listenry has no sign-in, no registration and no user profile. Nothing you do in the app is tied to an identity we hold.
Your audio stays on your device
Importing a file copies it into Listenry’s private storage on your phone. Your books, albums, chapter titles, artwork, listening positions and categories live on that device and in whatever backups you make yourself. There is no Listenry server that holds them, because there is no Listenry server.
Wi‑Fi transfer
When you start Wi‑Fi transfer, the app runs a temporary web server on your local network so a browser on your own computer can send files to the phone directly. The files travel between your two devices; nothing passes through us. The server runs only while that screen is open, and it is protected by a code shown on the phone.
Diagnostics and usage — the one thing that is sent
To find crashes and understand which features are used, the app can send:
- Crash reports via Sentry — the error, where in the code it happened, the app version, and the device model and OS version.
- Usage events via PostHog — for example that a book was imported or playback started, with an anonymous identifier.
What is deliberately switched off in both: personally identifying information, screenshots, view hierarchies, and interaction breadcrumbs. Reports do not contain your file names, book titles, or the contents of anything you listen to.
This is on by default and can be turned off in Settings → Send diagnostics and usage. Turning it off stops collection immediately, without relaunching the app. Both services process this data in the United States.
Purchases
Listenry Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat checking on our behalf whether a purchase is valid. We never see your card, your billing address, or your store account. What comes back to the app is one fact: whether Pro is unlocked.
Backups you make
The backup file Listenry writes is yours. You choose where it goes — a computer, an external drive, or a cloud folder you already use. It is not encrypted, so treat it like any other file that contains your library.
What Listenry never collects
- Contacts, calendar, location, photos, or the microphone
- The audio itself, or any part of its content
- What you listen to, or when — that stays on the device
- Advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no advertising SDKs.
Children
Listenry is a tool for managing audio files you already own and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top changes with it.

Listenry 播放你自己已经拥有的音频文件。没有账号,你的音频 不会被上传到任何地方。唯一会离开设备的是可选的诊断数据,而且你可以关掉它。
没有账号
Listenry 没有登录、没有注册、没有用户档案。你在 App 里做的任何事,都不会关联到我们持有的 任何身份。
音频留在你的设备上
导入会把文件复制进 Listenry 在手机上的私有存储。你的书、专辑、章节标题、封面、听到的位置 和分类,都只存在于那台设备,以及你自己做的备份里。没有任何 Listenry 服务器保存它们——因为 根本不存在这样的服务器。
Wi‑Fi 传输
启动 Wi‑Fi 传输时,App 会在你的局域网内起一个临时的网页服务器,让你自己电脑上的浏览器把 文件直接传给手机。文件在你的两台设备之间走,不经过我们。这个服务器只在那个界面打开时运行, 并且需要手机上显示的验证码。
诊断与使用数据——唯一会被发送的东西
为了发现崩溃、了解哪些功能被用到,App 可能发送:
- 崩溃报告(通过 Sentry):错误本身、发生在代码的哪个位置、App 版本、 设备型号与系统版本。
- 使用事件(通过 PostHog):例如「导入了一本书」「开始播放」,附带一个 匿名标识。
两者都刻意关掉了:可识别个人的信息、截图、视图层级、以及交互轨迹。报告里不含你的文件名、 书名,也不含你所听内容的任何片段。
它默认开启,且可以关闭:设置 → 发送诊断与使用数据。关掉即刻生效,不需要 重启 App。这两项服务在美国处理数据。
购买
Listenry Pro 是一次性买断,全程由 App Store 或 Google Play 处理,由 RevenueCat 代为核验 购买是否有效。我们看不到你的银行卡、账单地址或商店账号。回到 App 里的只有一个事实:Pro 是否 已解锁。
你自己做的备份
Listenry 导出的备份文件是你的。放到哪里由你决定——电脑、移动硬盘,或者你已经在用的网盘。 它没有加密,所以请把它当作一个装着你整个书库的文件来对待。
Listenry 从不收集的
- 通讯录、日历、位置、照片、麦克风
- 音频本身,及其任何内容片段
- 你听了什么、什么时候听——这些只留在设备上
- 广告标识符。没有广告,也没有任何广告 SDK。
儿童
Listenry 是一个管理你自己音频文件的工具,并非面向 13 岁以下儿童。
变更
如果这份政策在「收集什么」上发生变化,顶部的日期会随之改变。
